The rules
Required for islands from 15 October 2026. Islands without them are left out of the hero carousel, Top 10 and Epic's Picks.
1–2: 1920×1080, 3–4: 1440×1920, PNG or JPG. 5: 1440×608 transparent PNG. Max 5 MB each.
Keep 200 px (portrait 288 px, about 15%) at the top and bottom clear. On art-only images Fortnite places and trims your logo itself: top or bottom on landscape, and across the lower middle (about 62–86% down) on portrait, so keep faces out of those spots.
Thumbnail policies also ban currency, XP/AFK terms, arrows, platform buttons, Epic logos, prices, dates and sale tags.
